Microneedling

Microneedling involves using small needles to penetrate deep into the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin which results in smoother, less wrinkled skin. The tiny wounds caused by the needles initiate a normal process of wound healing which results in collagen production. As the collagen matures the skin tightens and skin laxity is improved.
The skin is numbed prior to treatment to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. Hyaluronic acid, growth factors and Platelet Rich Plasma are just some of the boosters that can be used in conjunction with microneedling to enhance the treatment results. The channels that are created by the needles allow these products to pass down to the dermis where they deliver much needed nutrients to cells. Dr. Fisher uses the automated Eclipse MicroPen EVO, a Health Canada approved microneedling pen, clinically proven to be safe and effective to achieve beautiful, natural-looking results.
